Elizabeth has more than 30 years of experience in the child support program. She has worked in field operations, policy, legal, and legislative analysis for public and private sectors. In 1987, Elizabeth worked for Washington State’s child support program, where she first worked in the field and later managed the program’s Legal, Legislative, and Policy section. Elizabeth later served as Chief of the program’s information technology office, providing leadership to more than seventy staff members who manage the statewide child support enforcement system. In addition, Elizabeth served as a critical member of the child support program’s Senior Management Team.
In 2000, Elizabeth joined the Center for the Support of Families, where she currently holds the position of Senior Associate. She is a legal consultant and subject matter expert on child support fiscal management issues, statutory compliance, and legislative analysis. Elizabeth serves as CSF’s lead subject matter expert on child support financial and distribution issues. She has been a lead author of federal policy guidance and training for the distribution requirements under the Deficit Reduction Act of 2005 and Tribal child support distribution. She has also served as a team leader and key staff member on federal, state, and local projects, analyzing child support policy, legislation, performance, systems, privacy, and fiscal issues. Elizabeth holds a B.A. from Whitman College, M.S. from Western Washington University, and J.D. from Seattle University School of Law. She is also a certified PMP.
