We are kicking off Season 3 of the Igniting Impact Podcast with an insightful conversation on change, how it happens, why it matters, and what organizations can do to navigate it effectively. Stacey is joined by Bree Thompson, PK West Regional Vice President, and Naomi Snodgrass, Vice President of Management Consulting, to explore the challenges of leading change in a world of volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity (VUCA).
Change does not happen all at once. It starts with individuals. Large-scale organizational transformation is only possible when each person successfully moves through their own change process. Naomi and Bree discuss how leaders can support their teams by recognizing that everyone is at a different stage in their journey.
Why the ADKAR Model Works
The ADKAR model is a key method in our Organizational Change Management approach. It offers a structured framework to navigate change step-by-step: awareness, desire, knowledge, ability, and reinforcement. Each stage builds on the previous one, emphasizing the importance of understanding the “why” of change before moving forward. By integrating ADKAR, we support organizations in achieving sustainable change and lasting transformation for individuals and the organization as a whole.
By recognizing where people are in the process, leaders can provide the right support at the right time. Whether you are leading an organization through transformation or navigating change yourself, this episode offers actionable insights to make the process smoother and more effective.
