Kathy Sokolik, Vice President of Child Support Services for the Center for the Support of Families (CSF) rejoins the National Child Support Enforcement Association (NCSEA) Board of Directors on September 1.

SILVER SPRING, MD (July 31, 2019)  SLI Government Solutions is proud to announce that Kathy Sokolik, Vice President of its Child Support Services practice, for the Center for the Support of Families (CSF) will rejoin the NCSEA Board of Directors in September.  Ms. Sokolik was selected by her fellow Past Presidents and will represent them during her two-year term.  Ms. Sokolik served as NCSEA’s Treasurer for several years, before being elected President in 2015.  She was named an NCSEA Honorary Life Member in 2017.

NCSEA is the largest child support professional association whose members include state and local child support agencies, private firms supporting the child support program and child support professionals.  Its mission is to promote and influence child support policies and services and to educate, connect, and inspire those who work in child support.

Ms. Sokolik began her career in child support in 1987, with Washington State’s program. She joined CSF first in 1994, and then again as its Vice President for Child Support Services in 2015, having spent 13 of the intervening years in senior management roles for the Marin, then Santa Cruz and San Benito CA county child support programs. During her time away from CSF, she also led the federal OCSE efforts in aligning the provisions of the Affordable Care Act with the child support program.  She is also active in the Western Intergovernmental Child Support Engagement Council (WICSEC) where she has served as President and is an Honorary Life Member.

In her role as Vice President of CSF’s Child Support practice, Ms. Sokolik has led a variety of projects in several jurisdictions, including child support guideline studies, child support and cross-program operational assessments, and large-scale training initiatives.  She is also responsible for ensuring that all CSF’s Child Support contracts are managed effectively, including those with the federal Office of Child Support Enforcement (OCSE).
