United States – October 2, 2025 – Strong child support programs rely on professionals learning from one another, which is why organizations like the Western Intergovernmental Child Support Engagement Council (WICSEC) play such a critical role. Matt Sautter, Child Support Industry Practice Director at Public Knowledge®, has been elected to WICSEC’s Board, where he will participate in initiatives and discussions that shape how child support agencies serve families across the United States. 

“I am grateful for the opportunity to serve on the WICSEC board. This community has always been a source of collaboration and fresh ideas, and I look forward to contributing to conversations that help strengthen child support programs,” said Matt. 

He brings extensive experience in family-centered policies, employment programs, and behavioral economics. Matt’s expertise equips him to tackle complex challenges and support WICSEC’s work to improve child support services. 

Since 2023, Matt has led the Child Support Industry Practice at Public Knowledge®. His work with county, state, and tribal programs has focused on improving outcomes for children and families through targeted program design and evaluation. 

Participation in organizations such as WICSEC creates important connections between child support programs and consulting firms. These relationships strengthen collaboration and improve the solutions developed for families. By building these connections, WICSEC helps keep child support programs strong and aligned with families’ needs. 

Public Knowledge® celebrates Matt’s election and looks forward to deepening engagement with peers dedicated to strengthening child support services. His leadership and expertise will help WICSEC increase agency networking opportunities, provide education, and improve child support outcomes nationwide.
