June 12, 2022

We understand the unique needs of the tribal nations, and we are ready to partner with you.

Lara at the National Tribal Child Support Association Training Conference

The National Tribal Child Support Association (NTCSA) Training Conference is a valuable opportunity to explore tribal child support enforcement initiatives and hear from Principal Chiefs and professionals from across the nation. Public Knowledge® management consultant Lara Fors attended and spoke at the conference.

Lara Shared Her Insight on Key Tribal Child Support Topics

Lara speaking at the National Tribal Child Support Association Training Conference

Lara had the opportunity to speak at two workshops at the NTCSA Training Conference, including:

Families Today

  • Lara is very well-versed in the Uniform Parentage Act and shared her forward-thinking ideas with other professionals and tribes. Speaking alongside Elysia Rodriguez, of the Ho-Chunk Nation, they discussed how tribes are addressing present and future issues in parentage.

The Expanding Circle of Tribal Enforcement Remedies

  • Additionally, Lara shared her IV-D expertise in this workshop. This workshop provided a holistic view of the enforcement tools available to IV-D tribal child support programs. She discussed both the history of the tools owned by the tribes and alternative income sources for child support programs to consider.
