Public Knowledge® will be at the Child Welfare League of America 2026 Conference. This year’s theme, The Work Ahead: Practice, Policy, and Possibility, reflects the practical realities that child welfare agencies face every day. Leaders are responding to shifting policy expectations while navigating fiscal pressure and workforce sustainability.
We partner with state, county, Tribal, and community-based agencies as they work through these demands. Our role is to support decisions that hold up over time, grounded in funding realities and day-to-day operations so systems remain steady for the families they serve.
Leading Through Complexity
Child welfare systems are balancing prevention goals, placement capacity, kinship support, and accountability to federal initiatives such as ACF’s A Home for Every Child. Success depends on connecting these priorities through thoughtful, deliberate approaches.
