SLI’s Center for the Support of Families Sponsors Denver Autism Speaks® Walk Fundraiser

DENVER, CO (April 9, 2019) – The Center for the Support of Families (CSF) Division of SLI Government Solutions has joined as a sponsor of Denver’s Autism Speaks® Walk. The major fundraising event takes place at Infinity Park in Glendale, CO on May 5, 2019.

CSF President Vernon Drew said, “Our company’s mission is focused on improving the lives of children and families. Supporting charities like Autism Speaks allows us to give back to the communities in which we serve, while promoting the passion our staff has for helping those in need.”

As a sponsor, SLI/CSF underwrites the cost of the Walk, which generates funds that fuel innovative research, along with making connections to critical lifelong support and services to enhance the lives of those living with autism.

Autism Speaks is an advocacy organization that sponsors autism research and conducts awareness and outreach activities aimed at families, governments, and the public. The Autism Speaks Walk is one of the major annual fundraising events for Autism Speaks. Similar Walks are also held across the country. SLI/CSF and its parent company, The GLI Group (GLI®), are committed to contributing to the communities where they serve. At the recent American Public Health Services Association’s (APHSA) Conference in Seattle, SLI raised funds – exceeding what had already been committed – to help support Compass Housing Alliance, an organization that provides housing, shelter, and support services to people experiencing homelessness and poverty in the Puget Sound region.  The CSF Division has a history of contributing to fund raising efforts for children’s non-profit organizations at the two major regional Child Support Enforcement conferences: ERICSA and WICSEC.
