CSF Division of SLI Government Solutions Continues Leadership in National Child Support Enforcement Association

SILVER SPRING, MD (September 28, 2018) The National Child Support Enforcement Association (NCSEA) held its annual Leadership Symposium recently in Pittsburg, PA.  The conference had over 500 participants, who gathered for three days of educational sessions and networking events.  Individuals from state and local child support agencies, the federal Office of Child Support Enforcement, representatives of international programs, and other professionals met to discuss and share knowledge of the important work of ensuring children receive financial support from parents.

CSF was well-represented at the NCSEA Leadership Symposium as a sponsor of the event.  CSF staff Phil Ashmore, Vernon Drew, Diane Potts, Kathy Sokolik, and consultant Hannah Roots all participated or led sessions on a wide variety of topics.

CSF Senior Associate Diane Potts chaired the conference in her role as President of NCSEA and was praised by the Board for her outstanding leadership during her presidential year.  Specifically, Diane was recognized for her work to update the Association’s Bylaws and Policy Manual, create a new eLearning initiative, transition to a new communication platform for NCSEA committees and members, develop a new Symposium Fair, implement a new membership model, and develop three new Congressional initiatives.  Incoming President Craig Burshem, the Director of the Virginia Division of Child Support Enforcement, also highlighted Diane’s leadership in ensuring that NCSEA accomplished all its year-one Strategic Plan goals.

Diane joins other CSF leaders Vernon Drew, Meg Haynes, and Kathy Sokolik as a Past President and will serve on the Board of Directors as the Immediate Past President for the 2018-19 year.
