NCSEA Leadership Symposium

August 1, 2021

Venue: Conference

The annual National Child Support Enforcement Association (NCSEA) Leadership Symposium Leadership Symposium was held from August 1-4, 2021. We were honored to not only participate in this event as a proud sponsor, but have one of our very own management consultants, Noelita Lugo, present.

The PK Way

Public Knowledge® always strives to make an impact, and the NCSEA Leadership Symposium was no exception. We were a proud Corporate Sponsor of this amazing conference. Everyone attending received a Public Knowledge® notebook to write down their brilliant thoughts and ideas.

Part of our team attended, including VP of Child Support and Workforce Services, Diane Potts, and management consultants Carl Blanchette, Mia Sena, Noelita Lugo, and James Butler.

Learned Innovations Worth Keeping

This breakout session focused on workplace innovations implemented during the pandemic. Noelita, along with the panelists, discussed what should or could be permanent moving forward. Topics being covered included the elements of a productive remote team and remote professional self-development.

Letting Parents Lead! A family-centered approach to equitable child support policies

The second panel Noelita spoke on highlighted the work Public Knowledge® completed with the Louisiana Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS). Insights and perspectives were gathered directly from the parents who interact with the child support system to implement inspiring change.

This information allowed them to develop a family-centered child support policy framework, an equity-focused child support organizational model, and a roadmap to assist them with the implementation while moving towards this family-centered, equitable program.
