Shaping the Child Support Program as We Know It

Meg is a nationally recognized attorney with over 35 years of experience in child support, specializing in interstate and international child support issues. Her decades of significant contributions to intergovernmental child support have been recognized by awards from the federal Office of Child Support Enforcement, the National Child Support Enforcement Association, and the Eastern Regional Interstate Child Support Association.  

  • Served as a member of the U.S. delegation that negotiated the 2007 Hague Child Support Convention and currently represents NCSEA as co-chair of the Forms Working Group. This group developed mandatory and recommended forms for use in processing cases under the Convention and reviews the need for new recommended forms. 
  • Was an official observer to the Uniform Interstate Family Support Act (UIFSA) Drafting Committee of the Uniform Law Commissioners and participated in the Act’s drafting from 1990 to 2008. 
  • Served as chair of the U.S. Commission on Interstate Child Support from 1990-1992. Its report to Congress resulted in a major reform to child support laws in the United States.
