A Walk with a Cause

To support the Western Intergovernmental Child Support Engagement Council (WICSEC) conference charity, Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, Public Knowledge® created a team for the upcoming WICSEC Imagination Walk.

Annually WICSEC selects a charity to collect funds for throughout their conference, and this year they selected the Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. Proceeds from their Imagination Walk will directly go to this selected charity. This walk is a virtual walk and you can connect a fitness device to auto-populate your distances or you can manually update your progress in the MoveSpring App. The virtual final destination is the 2022 WICSEC location, Sante Fe. Or, you can join a team and cheer on other team participants, but not have to worry about walking at all. There is something for everyone. WICSEC has a goal to get 250 participants, and are halfway there!

PKers Walking for a Cause

The Public Knowledge® Team was coordinated by Regional Vice President, Kathy Sokolik. As a result, several Public Knowledge® team members are already participating in the Imagination Walk, including Marketing Specialist, Philip Henery. In addition, a variety of GLI Group Families of Companies employees have signed up too.

PK Cares Hours at Work

Our firm’s PK Cares Hours program gives our team members the opportunity to volunteer for a cause they’re passionate about. From assisting people impacted by Texas’ winter storm to volunteering in a Habitat for Humanity build, Pkers love the opportunity to get involved.
