SLI Global Solutions is pleased to welcome Eric Henrichsen, former CIO of Nebraska’s Department of Health and Human Services, to our Government Solutions Division. Eric joins SLI Global as a Senior Manager and HHS Strategist. During his five-year tenure as CIO for Nebraska’s DHHS, the largest agency in the state, Eric provided technology vision and leadership in the development and implementation of DHHS IT capabilities. His time at DHHS coincided with the implementation of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and major investment into the modernization of Medicaid systems and those of other Human Services programs. Eric provided the strategic and tactical planning, development, evaluation, and coordination of the information and technology systems to support these historic initiatives.

Before joining the public sector, Eric was a proven IT leader in Nebraska’s private payer insurance community including Blue Cross Blue Shield of Nebraska as Director of IS Program Management, and at Mutual of Omaha as Senior Vice President of IS Applications. His leadership in both public and private sector health insurance lends tremendous credibility to SLI’s strategy for oversight and advisory services in the HHS arena.

Eric is a nationally recognized HHS IT thought leader and frequent speaker at the APHSA – ISM and MESC conferences. He served as the APHSA – State Representative for ISM.
