United States – January 30, 2024 –  Colin Watkins, the Health and Medicaid Industry Director of Public Knowledge®, has been appointed Secretary to the Private Sector Technology Group (PSTG) executive board. This role highlights Colin’s expertise and dedication to advancing Medicaid programs and health information technology. 

PSTG is a resource for federal and state governments, offering guidance on Medicaid and its supporting systems. Additionally, it encourages discussions on healthcare-related topics to provide insights on technical and policy matters. PSTG also supports businesses and organizations in the Health Information Technology sector that supply critical products and services to government agencies.

Colin brings over 12 years of experience in test management for large-scale projects and 15 years of Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) expertise for state initiatives. Since 2023, he has led Health and Medicaid efforts at Public Knowledge, including IV&V services for Pennsylvania’s MMIS Modernization project. Colin has been with the firm since 2009, demonstrating unwavering commitment to improving healthcare systems nationwide.
