Exploring our professional interests and broadening our education is a priority at Public Knowledge® (PK). We are happy to announce that Management Consultant Lamar Smith has earned his Hogans Assessment Certification. 

What is the Hogan Assessment?

Wouldn’t it be insightful to understand not only how you think you show up to a stressful situation but how others see you? You may feel as though you are flustered, but people may perceive you as calm, cool, and collected. The Hogan will reveal these findings. Based on 30 years of research, the Hogan assessment is the first of its kind to measure a person’s personality for business scientifically. Measuring your reputation instead of your identity shows how you present to others versus how you perceive yourself. While this may sound daunting, it is an invaluable tool to understand ourselves better.

Lamar Smith Completes Hogan Assessment Certification

As a Hogans Assessment Certification holder, Lamar can administer the assessment. Three core assessments measure different traits:

  • Hogan Personality Inventory (HPI)
  • Hogan Development Survey (HDS)
  • Motives, Values, Preferences Inventory (MVPI)

Designed to challenge traditional thinking regarding leadership, performance, and human nature, Lamar earning this certification is highly aligned with PK’s Values. In addition, it is an assessment that can be easily deployed with our DitDah™ Project Management Methodology. A core component is the development of healthy teams, and the awareness the assessment supplies provides the foundation for cohesive team formation and growth.
